People
Every product has a human story. Our responsibility is to make sure that story begins with dignity, safety, and respect.
The people who make and decorate promotional products are often invisible to the person who receives them. They should never be invisible to us.
I.D. Me Promotions sources through a global supply chain, which means our responsibility reaches beyond our own office and all the way to the factory floor. We expect the people behind our products to be treated fairly, paid properly, protected from abuse, and given a safe place to work. That expectation is written into our standards, supported by Product Safety Advisors' supplier-vetting and monitoring work, and reinforced when issues need to be corrected.
This is one of the commitments Neil Levitt built the company around. A sweatshirt, tote bag, bottle, notebook, or badge holder should never come at the expense of the person who made it.
What We Expect
Our People commitment begins with a simple premise: suppliers must respect worker rights and maintain ethical labor practices throughout the supply chain.
Our Supplier Code of Conduct prohibits forced labor, human trafficking, child labor, harassment, discrimination, unsafe working conditions, and unlawful employment practices. It also addresses wages and benefits, working hours, freedom of association, workplace health and safety, business ethics, and environmental responsibility.
We align our expectations with recognized social-accountability principles, including the SA8000 framework, and we look for suppliers whose factories can demonstrate credible social-compliance practices through established standards such as amfori BSCI, SA8000, or SMETA.
How Accountability Works
Responsible sourcing is not a one-time signature. We expect preferred suppliers to maintain procedures that support ongoing compliance with labor, safety, environmental, and legal requirements. Where appropriate, suppliers may be asked to cooperate with audits or assessments conducted by qualified independent third parties or reviewed with support from Product Safety Advisors.
When a concern is identified, we expect transparency, corrective action, and follow-through. A supplier that cannot or will not meet our expectations does not belong in our preferred network.
The Code Behind The Promise
Our Code of Conduct is the formal standard behind this commitment. It gives clients and suppliers a clear view of what we expect and what we are willing to stand behind.
For I.D. Me Promotions, social responsibility is not abstract. It is the daily work of choosing better partners, asking better questions, and refusing to separate the product from the people who make it.
